The extension LatexRenderer shows math formulas by rendering LaTeX markup as images on a Windows server.

Usage / features[edit | edit source]

 E=mc^2

Features

This extension provides the following functionality:

  • add a formula in edit mode like
  • use the VisualEditor Math menu item to insert complex formulas
  • the output of the formula in view mode is a png image

Technical information[edit | edit source]

Editor:

  • add formula in edit-mode to article content like <math>E=mc^2</math>
Visibility

This extension corresponds to the Math extension that is used to render LaTeX formulas on a Linux server.

Requirements[edit | edit source]

This extension requires Apache Tomcat Server.

More info[edit | edit source]

  • edit mode: formula with math tag in plain text <math>E=mc^2</math>
