What is Blog?[edit | edit source]
Blog extension allows displaying of relevant information in a "news-feed" style on a wiki page. BlueSpice has a blog function which is useful to publish news to all wiki users. is used to share news articles in the wiki (news about the organisation, changes in the wiki e.a), without setting up a seperate blog software.
Usage / Features[edit | edit source]
- Tag: Integrate the blog into any article pages (or main page) with a simple tag <bs:blog />.
- Text box: The tag creates a text box on the top for users with blog editing rights.
- Namespace: All blog articles will be automatically placed in an seperate namespace "Blog".
- Comments: The discussion page of each blog article is used for comments.
- Category filter: Articles from a particular category can be displayed in the blog by using the cat argument in the blog tag, for example <blog cat="Wiki" />.
