What is Blog?[edit | edit source]
Blog is used to share news articles in the wiki (news about the organisation, changes in the wiki e.a), without setting up a seperate blog software. extension allows creating news feeds on the wiki. These news feeds can be shown on any page, and users can be allowed to add their own news
Usage / Features[edit | edit source]
- Tag: Integrate the blog into any article pages (or main page) with a simple tag <bs:blog />.
- Text box: The tag creates a text box on the top for users with blog editing rights.
- Namespace: All blog articles will be automatically placed in an seperate namespace "Blog".
- Comments: The discussion page of each blog article is used for comments.
- Category filter: Articles from a particular category can be displayed in the blog by using the cat argument in the blog tag, for example <blog cat="Wiki" />.
