InsertLink is a tool developed by "Hallo Welt!" for inserting links into wiki articles offers a dialogue to insert links without using the wiki code.
Usage / Features[edit | edit source]
If you are already in the edit mode, you find the function "InsertLink" in the wiki code editor and in the WYSIWYG editor. Click on the link button to open the dialogue. If you want to delete a link please use the red button next to it.
Users can link:
- to other wiki pages,
- to wiki pages in specific namespaces,
- to external websites,
- to other wikis (e.g. Wikipedia articles) and
- to files on other drive.
These functions do not just save you time working with wiki code, but also present you with a list of existing articles in the wiki for you to choose from.
