BlueSpiceArticlePreviewCapture provides ability to show ArticlePreviewCapture shows current snapshots of wikipages to be shown wiki pages as thumbnails throughout the wiki.

Thumbnail snapshots of various pages are used in many places on the wiki, like:
- the page Special:SearchCenter - to show previews of pages in search results,
- Recent changes flyout
- Book manager flyout
- the search box, to show the top search result,
- the Recent Changes fly-out layer,
- the Book manager fly-out layer, and
- the Timeline.
