What is Authors?[edit | edit source]
The Authors extension extension displays all of the user users who have contributed to the article. They are displayed at the bottom of the article, article in the form of their user images/avatars.
Where to find Authors[edit | edit source]
Main author The main author (the one who created the article) and other contributors are shown at the bottom of each ariclearticle. Main The main author will appear appears first and will be is slightly separated from other users who have contributed to the page. If a user has been deleted there will be is a dummy photo with a yellow question mark instead of his or her profile picture. When the mouse hovers hoovers over the photo, the username will is be shown. Clicking on the picture takes you to that authors user page.
Configuration[edit | edit source]
Number of authors displayed, and if authors will be displayed at all, can be configured on BlueSpice preferences page (Special:BlueSpicePreferences). In case there are more contributors to the page than the limit allows to be shown, icon representing "more" will be shown.
Displaying Authors can also be achieved for a single page by placing behaviour switch on the page.
Rights (permissions)[edit | edit source]
This extension does not require any special rights. All users having "read" permission for the article can also see the authors of that article.
Requirements[edit | edit source]
Authors requires BlueSpiceFoundation and BlueSpiceAvatars.
