BlueSpiceInsertCategory enables viewing and managing categories a page belongs to.
Usage / FeaturesInsertCategory allows to add categories to a page in view mode or in visual edit mode.

Open the dialogue in the edit or the view mode and choose or create a new categoryThis extension is in use in the page information flyout, in the title section and in the multi-upload dialog.

Some aspects of this extension can be configured on Special:BlueSpiceConfigManager, under section "Insert category". Here wiki administrators can configure:
- Whether whether to set the page categories as default in the file upload dialog.
- Whether whether to insert a category with its parents.parent category
Rights (permissions)[edit | edit source]
This extension does not require any special rights. Users must have "edit" permission rights to be able to insert a category.

InsertCategory requires BlueSpiceFoundation.
