BlueSpiceInsertCategory enables viewing and managing categories a page belongs to.
Usage / Features[edit | edit source]Open the dialogue in the edit or the view mode and choose or create a new category.

Configuration[edit | edit source]
InsertCategory allows to add categories to a page in view mode or in visual edit mode.
This extension is in use in the page information flyout, in the title section and in the multi-upload dialog.
Some aspects of this extension can be configured on Special:BlueSpiceConfigManager, under section "Insert category". Here wiki administrators can configure:
- whether to set the page categories as default in the file upload dialog
- whether to insert a category with its
- parent category
