InsertCategory allows to add categories to a page in view mode or in visual edit mode.

This extension is in use in the page information flyout, in the title section and in the multi-upload dialog.

Configuration[edit | edit source]
Some aspects of this extension can be configured on Special:BlueSpiceConfigManager, under section "Insert category". Here wiki administrators can configure:
- whether to set the page categories as default in the file upload dialog
- whether to insert a category with its parent category
Rights (permissions)[edit | edit source]
This extension does not require any special rights. Users must have edit rights to be able to insert a category.
Requirements[edit | edit source]
InsertCategory requires BlueSpiceFoundation.
